How do mains fed water coolers work?
A mains fed water cooler connects directly to your cold water supply, filters the water on site, then chills, heats or carbonates it before it reaches the tap. Because it draws from your mains, it gives a continuous supply with no bottles to store, lift or swap. Most models offer a mix of chilled, ambient, hot and sparkling water, so a single machine can cover everything from a morning coffee to a cold drink in summer.
Hygiene and peace of mind
Every machine we install is sanitised on a schedule that suits how hard it works, by our own WRAS-qualified engineers. We fit market-leading Brita and 3M filters, recycle 100% of them when they are replaced, and leave you documentation you can show at a hygiene-compliance inspection. If something goes wrong, we aim to attend site within 24 working hours, with a free loan machine available where a repair has to happen off site.*

Is the water filtered?
Yes. Mains fed coolers filter your existing supply on site, using market-leading filters such as Brita and 3M, then chill, heat or carbonate it depending on the model. When filters are replaced, we recycle 100% of them through our filter recycling scheme.
How often do mains fed water coolers need servicing?
We recommend sanitisation at least once a year, carried out by our WRAS-qualified engineers, with filter changes to suit your usage. You can book single visits or an annual package, and we provide documentation on completion as evidence for hygiene-compliance checks.
Mains fed or bottled water cooler: which is better for an office?
A mains fed cooler suits offices with steady, higher demand and a fixed location, because it plumbs into your supply and never runs out. Do I need a plumber to install a mains fed water cooler?
No. Our own engineers connect the cooler to a nearby mains water point and fit the filtration as part of installation, so you do not need to arrange a separate plumber. Where a machine needs to sit away from an existing water point, we will look at the options with you before installing.
